| PHARMACEUTICAL |
| AMBROSIALAB has developed an innovative approach
for obtaining new antioxidants from natural sources to be used
for pharmaceutical applications in the field of free radical
driven diseases. In contrast to current receptor-based pharmacological
approaches, the idea that an antioxidant therapy could work
as a general protection against damages induced by oxidized
species is particularly attractive. We have also developed new
strategies of targeting drugs to the Central Nervous System.
Moreover, AMBROSIALAB has achieved significant results in the
study of nucleosides analogs as potential anti-viral/anti-tumor
agents. |
